The Michigan Solar Car Team has come a long way since its founding in 1989. After building 11 cars and winning 6 national championships, Michigan is America’s #1 solar car team. Yet one goal still remains: win the World Solar Challenge.
In order to win, we are launching the 100 Days to Win the World fundraising campaign. We finished construction of our newest car, Quantum, 6 months before the race, which has given us valuable testing time. In its current condition, Quantum can compete with the best, but with additional support, we can make the changes we need to win the World Solar Challenge.
