MaizeBlaze was unveiled to a crowd of over 250 people on April 30, 1999 in Lovett Hall at Henry Ford Museum & Greenfield Village. This was also a celebration of our ten-year anniversary, as U of M's first car, Sunrunner, is on display in the museum. The two cars were displayed next to each other outside to symbolize the decade of achievments from the University of Michigan Solar Car Team.
