Sourcing Updates
All essential mechanical parts required for a rolling vehicle are now in. This is a major milestone for the team, effectly marking the end of a first round of parts design, test, and production. A special thanks goes out to all of the team’s dedicated manufacturing sponsors, including, Viper Technologies, Wolverine, Tel-X, Leonard Machine Tool, Stark Industrial, Roush, GT Fab, NC Machine, Leading Edge Cutting Solutions, and Pro-Tech.

In addtion, raw materials for the final/race production set of parts have also arrived. Thanks to the generous donation of very strong, yet light weight titanium material by Lynn Brace at Tico Titanium, Infinium has taken one step closer to be the best performing solar car on the road.

Awesome, that's a huge step! To Chris and everyone else, congrats on a job well done. It's always a treat to see those hours in computer labs and design reviews finally pay off. Now get that car rolling!
It's great to see machining companies like Tel-x continue to come back. Keith and his group in Garden City have already had a hand in two national champion solar vehicles, I hope they throw some of that special sauce into Infinium as well.
